In 2023, our founder started giving free haircuts at a homeless shelter in Anderson, South Carolina. It was just something he did on his days off—not for money or recognition, but as a way to give back and share a simple message: Your story matters. You matter. And no matter how far gone you feel, it's not over.

What started as one act of service has turned into a movement. Since then, Cuts for Confidence has expanded into nine states across the country, from coast to coast. We've built a team of over 300 volunteers who now serve in children's homes, foster care programs, elementary schools, women's shelters, homeless shelters, soup kitchens, drug rehabs, and more.

Our volunteers are the backbone of our organization. None of this would be possible without them. In the last year and a half alone, we have provided more than 2,500 free haircuts to people facing some of life’s hardest battles.

We’ve learned along the way that there are so many barbers, hairstylists, and cosmetology students who want to give back, but don’t always know how. That’s where we come in—bridging the gap between passionate professionals and the people and places that need them most.

Every haircut is a chance to remind someone they’re not invisible. That they’re loved. That their story isn’t over. ❤️
